You probably already know the wondrous health benefits of honey but did you know that it also has incredible benefits for your skin. This recipe includes cinnamon and nutmeg, but honey alone works wonders. If you have sensitive skin it is recommended to do a patch test first and if you do find this combo irritates your skin then just use plain honey.

Cinnamon is anti-microbial, anti-fungal and helps increase circulation to the skin. Nutmeg is also anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, as well as anti-inflammatory and astringent.You will need:
Mix the honey, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small glass bowl until you get a thick chocolatey paste, you can always add a little extra honey if you like. Apply lightly but as evenly as you can to a freshly cleansed face, then sit back and relax for at least half an hour. Only use enough to cover your face - don’t use too much (especially around your jawline) because the honey gets a bit drippy! (I recommend draping a towel around you neck and over your shoulders to catch the drips.) Rinse with warm water and enjoy smooth nourished skin!
